Oxford-born, Cardiff-based, Ed Tullett is a prolific songwriter, producer and collaborator, best known for his work with Novo Amor (Ali Lacey). Tullett and Lacey met in 2013 at one of Tullett’s shows and quickly became friends. The result was the collaborative album ‘Heiress’ (2017) and the co-authoring of both Novo Amor albums: ‘Birthplace’ (2018) and the widely- acclaimed successor ‘Cannot Be, Whatsoever’ (2020). The pair continue to work together closely.
In 2018, Tullett formed two new collaborative projects. The first, Lissom, with French pianist Julien Marchal; the second, Hailaker, with Bristol-based Jemima Coulter. Across these projects four albums have been created and released, with Hailaker’s most recent single featuring S. Carey of Bon Iver.
In 2021 Tullett formed an electronic project with lifelong friend Auryn Tate (Shinamo Moki) and continues to write and collaborate across a wide spectrum of musical styles.
